Session 0 - 7/18/21
Each of us have found our way to Elturel for various reasons and we happen to be in a tavern. Each of us are here to assist the Order of the Gauntlet, the Flaming Fist or the Hell Riders.
Our story starts with Quaf arriving at the Black Antlers Inn - a warlock satyr with love of traveling, who was captured and became a warlock. Caught in a secret chamber of the Order of the Gauntlet's secret chambers and given a choice - join the guard or die in the dungeons. Trapped here for what seemed like at least a year and is now drinking away his sorrows.

Onthar Frume and some other Order of the Gauntlet members, they beckon Quaf over.
Ziesh enters, a Yuan-ti posing as a human. He was arrested for a murder which he "might" have committed, but he has agreed to work as a mercenary for the Flaming Fist for the time being until his trial. He's arriving to the tavern to awaiting orders to see "The Duke", Ulder Ravenguard regarding the "Cult of the Dragon".
The halfling grabbed Ziesh's cloak, asking for money for a drink- he insists. He announces himself as "Grim" and reaches out his hand for a handshake and repeats his solicit for some "coin". Ziesh gives him a gold. He tells him his name is "Grim Bonebelly" and goes to get some more beer.
Then Cloud enters the tavern, a tabaxi cat person with a silverish blue hue mark on his forehead. He's looking down at a card of a silver dragon with a book. He smirks after looking around the room and heads to the barkeep and asks for a glass of milk. The barkeep asks if he can help get rid of "that drunk bastard" who has been scaring away the customers
Cloud approaches the drunk, donned in wizard robes with big 40 oz. "Names Jimmy that's me!, needs some advice?" Cloud asks Jimmy to watch his volume. Keep it down! "They trying to taking away my freedoms to shotgun dis beer, kill some deer, and keep my ass right fuck'n here! Go off and leave me be. Now fuck off, back the fist brother." Cloud leaves and sits nearby the group in the corner to ease drop.
Toque enters blaring his instrument, a 7 foot tall 300 lb elephant. a 15 year vet of the Hell Riders. He holds a digeridoo that he holds with his trunk and plays it frequently. He stops as soon as he enters the tavern. (because that would be rude) and sees Gideon Lightward and gives him the bro-nod and heads to the barkeep. This is an opportunity to prove himself to the High Rider.
Perrin enters, a stout halfling about 3 foot tall, 50lbs stout, goes to the barkeep and gets 3 meals. He can tell it's noon by his hunger. Then approaches the halfling musician and exchanges some words. He's pranked by the bard and then shuffled off with a gold coin "Gargalagodsh.... Gargle on deez nuts!" Perrin doesn't understand the joke. :(
The Reason we are all here:
Onthar: Troubling news that the Cult has burned down the town of the "Greenist" the cult has been bold enough to conduct their rituals in the woods just north of here. Let's put aside our squabbles and act now.
The Duke agrees. Believing it will give him an edge on the overseer.
Gideon also agrees.
"This is Rhea a human looks about 16 or so, short for a girl of that age, she has been training as a Hell Rider since she was 12. This is her first opportunity to prove herself as a true Hell Rider. It's clear she knows her way around a sword." I am Rhea Mantlemorn, I'm excited to deal with cultists, but nervous.
Perrin offers his fish and chips to help with the nerves.
Gideon warns us of the danger of the cult of the dragon. and puts out his palms and blesses the party. Giving us advantage on saving throws for 24 hrs.
The "Companion" is a large floating orb that bathes the city/region in a radiant glow day and night. Allegedly... this light can burn the undead.
We embark on horseback and follow Rhea along a dirt road traveling North. We'll see many happy travelers and religious travelers headed to Eltereal. Toque rides upon a giant black clydesdale towering over the group.
On our way out of town, just outside the city we pass a majestic weeping willow tree on a small hill with a beautiful view. There is a elderly priest standing next to the tree. A young couple approaches our group, and asks us to be witnesses to their wedding vows.
Rhea, Qaaf, Toque all jump down and excitedly join them. Reluctantly Ziesh joins. Perrin tells about how halfling weddings are giant with all the family. As they crest the hill they see all of their friends and family.
After the vows, they give each of us a hibiscus flower.
Perrin gets upset that there isn't a buffet. And gets a little salty about it. Rhea tells him to take a chill pill. Our party makes their leave.
Each of us hear a woman yelling for help in the distance, "I'll make a fur coat after you yet". She's wearing a rainbow scarf and throws rocks at white wolves growling at her. A runty black wolf circles the tree nearby. Qaaf has been bringing out his telescope and looking at things the whole time. Toque charges in on his warhorse.
------------ROLL INITIATIVE----------------
Grace Lin is saved by the group, two dogs were slain and the other ran. The black runt froze in place. Toque bluff charges the runt, and then after it doesn't move again. He attempts to pet the dog. He sucks at rolling and it runs away. He plays his digeridoos in sadness.
Grace tells us she doesn't have enough money for school. she's 3 gold short. Cloud gives her 7 gold to fund her as a scholarship. Perrin tries to convince her to tell everyone it was the Flaming Fist that saved her. She pulls a blue thread from her rainbow scarf and gives it to Cloud.
"If you return this back to me after I become a famous painter, I will give you one free lesson of your choice. "
We move along on our horses
We arrive near the encampment in the forest. We dismount hide our horses.
Qaaf knows that owls love this darkness, giant owls and owl bears in this area are common.
Perrin got hungry and pulled out some Cheddar Soup, he started eating it and hung back from the group. He noticed something in the bushes. Attracted by the smell, an owl bear approached the group.
He recognizes it as a bear and books it up to the group.
Toque moves forward to protect the group and slices
The group engages in combat with the Owl Bear. It slices Perrin and brings him to the ground knocking him unconscious. After many eldrich blasts and bell toll of the dead the creature was slain.
Rhea blames Perrin for this, Perrin disagrees and says "There's always time for soup!"
Session 1 - 8/1/21
Our band of adventures have advanced to level 2!
The group has decided to follow the path of dimmly lit woods, the group finds some footprints on the trail- naturally they party decides they should simply follow them.
Twilight falls upon the group.
The party sees a silhouette of a man ahead in the middle of the road.
Toque focuses his senses with his Divine Sense on the being, but his senses enhance and he smells rotting bones in the undergrowth near them. Toque calls out to him and Perrin throw a rock in his direction. No response.
Ziesh gets closer and realizes the man has been impaled- dead.
The smell of dead rotting flesh gets stronger.
Ziesh sees a man in robes grinding a dead man's skull.
Cloud stumbles into the path and gives a skeleton notice of the party
------ ROLL INITIATIVE ------
The party interrupts their ritual. Cloud gets knocked the fuck out but Toque brings him back with a Lay on Hands.The group swiftly smashes their way through the skeletons and surrounds the ritualist. Cloud jumps on the alter and smashes some totems.
Toque smites the man down!
Cloud gives the final skeleton a solid bonk.
Cloud picks up a blue dragon idol
Ziesh finds a silver ring with a 5-headed dragon engraved on it from the impaled man
Toque found an peculiar upper arm bone, but drops it thinking it's not worth anything
Rhea identifies the ring as a symbol of "Tiamat" the dragon queen.
In the distance, a woman is screaming the praises of Bane while dunking a man's head in a stream.
Perrin Ziesh and Cloud try to sneak ahead.
Perrin was so focused on being quiet that he got sidetracked and ended up in the clearing.

We surround dat hoe and slap her shit, she tries to shoot us with her bow a few times but Perrin slaps her shield outta her hand and we pimp slap dat hoe.
She shrieks when we're about to kill her.
We hear a man scream in the distance like he's about to be killed. Toque and Ziesh sprint ahead straight to the scream
Toque throws a javelin athe the offender
